Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery & Traumatology  Advanced Hands-on Surgical Training

Take your surgical skills to the next level through an intensive 5-day hospital-based training programme designed exclusively for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons seeking extensive operative experience.

The defining feature of this course is its exceptional practical format:

• 3 full days performing surgery on live patients in a hospital setting under the direct supervision of an experienced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery team.
• 2 full days of Fresh Frozen cadaver surgery, allowing participants to practise advanced surgical approaches and techniques in a realistic anatomical environment.

This is a true hands-on surgical training programme—not an observational course. Every participant actively performs surgical procedures, gaining valuable operative experience while managing real clinical cases and advanced anatomical dissections.

The programme is delivered in collaboration with the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology Department at Faculdade CTA, São Paulo, Brazil, and is led by Prof. Ma. Walter Paulesini Junior, a renowned Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Fellow of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS), and Coordinator of the CTBMF Residency Program at Hospital Padre Bento.

Throughout the five days, participants will develop practical skills in hospital and outpatient surgery, orthognathic surgery and 3D planning, bone grafting and alveolar reconstruction, benign jaw pathology, advanced oral and maxillofacial surgery, traumatology, and the surgical treatment of maxillofacial fractures. The combination of live patient surgery and Fresh Frozen cadaver training provides an immersive educational experience that closely reflects modern oral and maxillofacial surgical practice.
