Beginner Implantology

Join our comprehensive Surgical Implantology course designed specifically for beginners. This course provides hands-on experience in various implant placement techniques, including the placement of 20 biphasic and monophasic implants (straight and angled).

You will also gain proficiency in minimally invasive and flap techniques, conventional drilling, physiological drilling, and reverse drilling. Additionally, the course includes pre and post- surgical clinical sessions. Upon completion, each participant will receive a diploma from the Ministry of Health de Cuba.

Theoretical Sessions and Additional Training: In addition to practical training, you will attend theoretical lectures covering various topics such as hospital procedures, prosthetic rehabilitation for operated patients, utilization of disposable materials and biomaterials, and guidance from experienced teachers, operating room assistants, and surgical field assistantship for another 20 implants. The course also offers limited spots for 10 participants.

The course package includes hotel accommodation, airport and hotel transfers, course materials, as well as breakfast and lunch.

Key Learning Objectives:

  • Develop expertise and experience through an intense and focused training camp for implantology.
  • Learn how to independently plan and implement implantology therapy concepts for the treatment of your patients.
  • Each participant will have the opportunity to place 20 implants as the main surgeon and assist in an additional 20 implants.
  • Participants may bring their assistants to train as oral surgery assistants and scrub nurses in oral and implant surgery, as well as surgical sterilization techniques.

  • 14:00-15:00 Clinical session with patients to be operated on by the teaching staff
  • 15:00-18:00 Clinical session with patients to be operated on by participants

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

  • 9:00-10:00 Planning the day surgeries and analyzing the day before surgeries
  • 10:00-13:00 Clinical session with patients to be operated on, placing implants by participants
  • 13:00-14:00 Lunch
  • 14:00-18:00 Clinical session with patients to be operated on, placing implants by participants

Friday

  • 9:00-10:00 Clinic session of operated patients
  • 10:00-13:00 prosthetic session of operated patients
  • 13:00-14:00 Lunch
  • Friday Evening Closing Of The Course
  • Gala party dinner (Cuban music). Presentation of accreditation diplomas

Saturday 

  • Transfer to the airport, return to your county
