Dr. Rogério de Lima Romeiro is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Implantologist with an extensive academic and clinical background in implant dentistry and oral rehabilitation. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) and a PhD in Implantology, as well as a PhD in Oral Pathology, reflecting a strong commitment to scientific research and evidencebased clinical practice. Dr. Romeiro further advanced his academic training through postdoctoral fellowships in Periodontics and Materials Engineering, focusing on the biological and material sciences that support modern implantology and regenerative therapies. He is the author of several influential publications in the field, including the books Evidence-Based Implantology, Research in Implantology, and HOF: Art and Science, which explore scientific, clinical, and conceptual aspects of contemporary implant dentistry. In addition to his clinical and research activities, Dr. Romeiro plays a significant role in postgraduate education. He serves as Coordinator of the Specialization and Master’s Programs in Implantology at São Leopoldo Mandic School of Dentistry, where he is actively involved in training the next generation of implant specialists and advancing academic research in the field.
